Engineer - Azure EngineerRemote: Jackson, MSAbout the JobDuration: Long term Contract PositionLocation: Remote: Jackson, MSPay rate: HourlyJob ID: 154561.Overview:This position requires a qualified Azure Engineer with at least 7 years' experience in the following areas.Responsibilities:This position requires a qualified Azure Engineer with at least 7 years' experience in the following areas.Implementation of a landing zone architecture through Terra Form to manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and securityAnalyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvementsDevelop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging Terra Form to ensure automated and consistent platform deploymentsDeploying IaC utilizing Azure DevOps pipelinesManage security and access controls of cloud-based solutionsAutomate processes and infrastructure lifecycle management.Qualification:REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimizationExperience deploying IaC with Azure DevOps.Experience in IaC development with TerraformProficient with GIT to perform source code managementEnthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partnersExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detailPreferred/Not RequiredStrong foundational knowledge of the Cloud Adoption Framework for AzureDemonstrate an understanding of security concepts including governance and access control.Basic understanding of azure active directory and integration with on-premises systemsNetwork CIDR block and IP address planning as well as vnet gateway for transit routingMonitoring and logging azure platform using cloud native services.About our CompanyDataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US.
