Lead Java Kotlin Engineer - 100% Remote Top 3 Requirements:Kotlin (Functional): Can look at Functional Programming generally (Scala, Haskell, Clojure)Java / Spring Boot (2.3 + is ideal)Reactive Programming model (functional) – look for people from Target (Target.com) or other Ecommerce companiesCI/CD – Building Azure Infra (any cloud experience is ok...for example, if they have AWS they should have API Gateway)Enterprise experience with Target or Best BuyProject Scope / Components: Optum Digital – They are an API Layer exposing United Health data to external parties. Customers hit their APIs for things like claims, customer information etc. 25-ish APIs and they have a really old code base. They want to modernize the platform with a Microservices Architecture and Azure (full tear down and re-write).They are a full DevOps shop where they manage the entire platform.
