Private HouseholdsSchool and Employee Bus TransportationOther Amusement and Recreation IndustriesScheduled Air TransportationCommercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and MaintenanceThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for hands on operations of all facility equipment.Tasks and Responsibilities:Organize repairs as needed.Perform preventative and schedule maintenance on facility equipment.Schedule, conduct & document fire and disaster drills.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing issues.Maintain accurate records and logs on maintenance activities.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & plumbing repair.General handy man expertise.Knowledge of compressors, generators, & boilers helpful.Knowledge of Life Safety Code & State Nursing home regulations.Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.Ability to lift 40 pounds.Ability to work independently.Requirements:Must have high school education or equivalent.Vocational or technical school preferred.Strong communication skills.Two years experience in nursing home environment.
