Job Description Daycare Teacher (Infant, Toddler, & Preschool) Location: 550 N Torrence Ave, Calumet City, IL 60409 Job Summary We are looking for passionate and experienced Daycare Teachers to join our team! You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment tailored to the specific needs of your assigned age group. Compensation & Benefits* Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour (depending on experience). * Job Type: Full-time / Part-time. * Benefits: * Paid Time Off (PTO)Key Responsibilities* Instruction & Care: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily routines that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children. * Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that adheres to state licensing and health safety standards. * Observation & Assessment: Monitor children's progress and provide regular updates to parents regarding their child's development and daily activities. * Safety & Supervision: Ensure constant supervision of children during all activities, including indoor play, outdoor time, and nap periods. * Parent Communication: Maintain open and professional communication with families to build a strong school-home partnership.Qualifications & Requirements* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lead or assistant teacher in a licensed childcare facility is required. * Education: CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) highly preferred. * Skills: Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children. Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting per state regulations. * Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).If you are a motivated educator with at least two years of experience, we encourage you to apply today!
