Desktop Support Engineer
Role: Desktop Support EngineerLocation: Clearbrook, VA - 22624 Onsite Job Description:· Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.· Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and macOS.· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.· Install and support common business applications such as Microsoft Office and antivirus tools.· Perform system imaging, software deployment, and patch management.· Maintain IT asset inventory and document incidents using ticketing systems.· Support remote users through remote access tools and provide timely issue resolution as per SLA.· Coordinate with network, server, and security teams for escalated issues.· Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security standards, and backup procedures.
