Principal Solution Consultant

Principal Solution ConsultantAs a Principal Solution Consultant, you will serve as a subject matter expert in the Agiloft platform, the broader CLM market, and emerging AI-driven capabilities transforming contract management. You will partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute sales strategies that align to customer business outcomes across enterprise accounts.This role requires a blend of domain expertise, technical depth, business acumen, and the ability to leverage modern AI tools to accelerate presales execution, enhance storytelling, and improve deal outcomes.Job ResponsibilitiesPartner with Account Executives to technically qualify and progress new sales opportunitiesAct as a trusted advisor to customers by aligning platform capabilities to business and strategic outcomesLead discovery, solution design, and value articulation across complex enterprise sales cyclesBuild and deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to key business drivers and functional requirementsManage and lead Proof of Concept (POC) engagements with clear success criteria and measurable outcomesSupport the creation of high-quality proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and customer-facing deliverablesLeverage modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, generative AI platforms) to accelerate content creation, solution design, and insight generationApply knowledge of machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and AI-driven workflows to position differentiated solutions and educate customersCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide structured customer feedback and influence roadmap prioritiesDevelop reusable assets, demo environments, and enablement materials to scale the Solution Consulting organizationContribute to thought leadership and internal enablement on AI in CLM and enterprise softwareFoster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-centric team cultureOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsDemonstrated experience engaging with executive stakeholders (including CXO-level) and articulating enterprise software value propositionsStrong understanding of CLM, legal tech, procurement, or adjacent enterprise software domainsDeep knowledge of modern systems architecture, including cloud-native platforms, integrations, and APIsProven expertise in value-based selling, solution design, and delivering compelling product demonstrationsExperience leading customer pilots and Proof of Concept (POC) engagementsExcellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business valueHands-on familiarity with modern AI tools and technologies, including generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude), and a working understanding of ML/NLP conceptsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsWillingness to travel (up to 30%)Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Consulting roles within CLM or enterprise SaaSExperience with platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or enterprise systems including CLM, Procurement, Sourcing, CPQ, or Matter Management7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise software, presales, or consulting rolesFamiliarity with AI-driven use cases in legal, procurement, or workflow automation domainsExperience building business cases, ROI models, or value frameworksPrevious leadership or mentorship experience (team lead, player-coach, or informal leadership roles)What Success Looks LikeDrives higher win rates and larger deal sizes through differentiated solution positioningAccelerates time-to-value in presales through effective use of AI tools and reusable assetsInfluences customer strategy and decision-making as a trusted advisorElevates the broader Solution Consulting team through enablement and best practice sharingAgiloft offers a comprehensive benefits package for US employees including but not limited to the following:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceShort term and long-term disabilityLife insurance and AD&DSupplemental life insurance (Employee/Spouse/Child)Health care and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts401(k) with company matchPaid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.Paid parental leaveVoluntary benefits including pet insuranceEnsuring a diverse and inclusive workplace is our priority.
