Fuse engineer

Principal EngineerWe are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer who has in-depth design and development of fuses and/or circuit protection products. The engineer will work closely with Product Development. This role reports to the Director of Fuse Development.Qualifications:Bachelor or university degree in Engineering; MS in Engineering; PhD preferred10+ years of experienceDeep knowledge of fuse technology (over current, over voltage, magnetics, etc.)Experience with global manufacturing companies preferredApplies extremely advanced technical principles and concepts in developing products that may overlap several functions or disciplines. (30%)Serves as the lead engineer on projects. Reports results to management, and is responsible to redirect technical staff to correct any/all problems that arise during the project. (30%)Directs development of solutions to complex technical problems that require advanced concepts, principles, and methods. (25%)Recommends changes in programs or applications by leveraging new developments and requirements.
