Hiring: R&D Technician – Product Development (Food Industry)We are looking for a R&D Technician to support product development and innovation projects within our Taste Elevation business across North America. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong scientific background who enjoys working in a lab environment and contributing to real product commercialization.Role OverviewYou will play a key role in supporting technical development projects focused on innovation and renovation of food products. This position requires someone who can manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct analytical testing of food products and packaging in a laboratory settingAccurately record, analyze, and manage dataSupport product development and commercialization activitiesAssist Food Scientists with lab and pilot plant experiments (ingredient prep, processing, packaging)Manage lab inventory, sanitation, and sample logistics (shipping/receiving)Perform shelf-life studies and support initial production trialsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and teamwork skillsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)Passion to learn and grow in a fast-paced R&D environmentQualificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related STEM field (Preferred: Food/Dairy/Meat Science or Food/Chemical Engineering)Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
