This role is centered around Allegro, working across trading, risk, settlements, and IT to improve how the platform supports the business.You'll be in the middle of it. Understanding what the business needs, translating that into system functionality, and helping drive changes that actually stick.Must haves5+ years of Business Analysis experience within retail power, energy trading, or commoditiesHands-on experience with Allegro ETRM/CTRM platformStrong understanding of retail power operations and the full trade lifecycleExperience gathering requirements, mapping processes, and working with stakeholdersAbility to work across business and technical teams in fast-paced environmentsNice to haveExperience with billing, settlements, and pricing in retail energyKnowledge of ISO/RTO markets such as ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, MISO, or NYISOFamiliarity with SQL or data analysis toolsExperience working in Agile environmentsExperience supporting system implementations or migrationsWhat the work looks likeYou'll act as the bridge between business teams and technical teams for all things Allegro. That includes gathering requirements, translating them into functional specs, and making sure the system reflects how the business actually operates.You'll work across the full trade lifecycle, from deal capture through settlements and reporting, helping ensure data flows correctly and processes are efficient.You'll support enhancements, configurations, and ongoing platform improvements. That includes working with development and QA teams, supporting testing efforts, and helping ensure successful delivery.You'll also identify process gaps and drive improvements, whether that's operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, or risk controls.This role requires someone who understands both the trading side and the system side, and can connect the two without overcomplicating it.At iSphere, we look for people who can step into complex environments and make them work better.
