KnowledgeHas demonstrable, deep expertise in one or more commercial-grade Trade Order Management Systems. Should understand key functions for:Portfolio ConstructionTradingComplianceMiddle OfficeShould understand the construction of the database, how trades and block orders move through the system, basic table construction and interoperability.Skills Project Management Capabilities: Create a workable project plan with milestones, dependencies and resourcesIdentify workstreams withing the project plan Articulate deliverablesAssess needed resources; match resource to needsManage deliverables within a sprintAnalytical SkillsRequirements Gathering/Workflow analysisRequirements DeliveryProblem-solving skillsPresentations SkillsAbility to deliver clear messagesExplain complex issues and articulate solutionsHelp clients make good decisionsCoaching SkillsIdentify gaps in team performance and understandingCreate plans to close gaps and improve performanceEncourage and support team membersQA/TestingEnsure robust testing within projectsCreate achievable test plansEnsure testing is auditable and repeatableExperienceMinimum of 3 Complete Implementations in a lead role for firms with a minimum of $20B aum and at least one firm with AUM >$200b.Minimum of 7 years of directly-related experience and 10 years of industry experience.Candidate should have industry contacts that support his/her level of industry experience.ResponsibilitiesManage and grow the OMS practice and deliver consulting services.Accurately assess what clients needManage Complex Projects with Multiple StreamsDrive projects to produce desired outcomesIdentify problems/blockers and coach clients and teams through to resolutionGrow The Practice In Accordance With Company GoalsEstablish IMP as a trusted partner with clients by delivering consistently outstanding service. Expand contacts throughout the client organization; Land additional projects at current clients;Demonstrate industry thought leadershipStay up to date on industry best-practices and trends. Build personal credentials and demonstrate expertise by completing speaking engagements each quarter, with at least one external (e.g. industry conference). Share knowledge with the team.Assist in sales by bringing OMS subject-matter expertise to client meetings.
