Our projects include anaerobic digesters, biogas-powered electric generation, and renewable natural gas upgrading.Position DescriptionMaas Energy Works is seeking a new Office Manager to perform a variety of administrative duties that support daily office and company operations. The Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient workplace for all employees and visitors. This position is responsible for managing office maintenance, facilities coordination, supply inventory, vendor relationships, event support, and creating an exceptional experience for staff and guests.As a fast-growing company in a developing niche industry, the ideal applicant should possess strong interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with professionalism and grace.ResponsibilitiesFacilities & Office ManagementOffice Administration & OperationsOversee all mail and package handling, alarm codes, key access, and related administrative systemsCoordinate routine office maintenance, repairs, custodial services, and vendor relationships with strong organizational oversight.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across offices, common areas, and exterior spaces.Conduct regular facility walk-throughs to proactively identify and resolve maintenance needs.Manage office supply inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships with accuracy and efficiency.Hospitality & Workplace ExperienceUphold a professional and welcoming office environment, including consistent breakroom and coffee station maintenance.Support office tours, onboarding logistics, and local company events with strong attention to detail.Serve as the primary point of contact for staff on all office and building-related needs.Additional DutiesMaintain accurate and organized records of facility maintenance, vendor contracts, and office expenses.Maintain basic indoor plant care.Provide high-level administrative support for special projects and tasks as assigned by the Department of Culture and Talent.Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure smooth operational support and administrative excellence.Qualifications & SkillsRequired:Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required2+ years of experience in administrative roles, office management, or facilities coordination.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standardsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgmentProfessional demeanor and customer service orientationAbility to build and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and contractorsPreferred:Experience coordinating facilities management or vendor relationshipsPrior experience in management, administration, event planning or hospitalityFamiliarity in working maintenance companies for HVAC, building systems, or facility operationsExperience in a fast-paced, growing organizationPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workdayAbility to lift and carry office supplies and materials up to 25 pounds occasionallyAbility to climb stairs and move between floors to conduct facility inspectionsOccasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions (e.g., cleaning outdoor areas, managing flags)Work is performed primarily in a professional office environmentMay require occasional flexibility in work hours to support company eventsOther Duties
