CNC Machinist Operator

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist Operator to join our manufacturing team in Pittsburgh, PA. The CNC Machinist Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision metal and plastic components according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience reading blueprints, and a commitment to quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines including mills and lathes to produce parts according to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsMonitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiencyMeasure finished products using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipmentAdjust machine settings to maintain production accuracy and efficiencyInspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standardsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentDocument production data and report any issues to supervisorsQualifications:High school diploma or GED required1–3+ years of CNC machining or machine operation experience preferredAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measuring instrumentsBasic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code knowledge is a plus)Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferred Qualifications:Technical or vocational training in machining or manufacturingExperience with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machinesKnowledge of machining metals such as steel, aluminum, and alloysCompany DescriptionOver 120 years of delivering industrial might to Western Pennsylvania – And ready for a NEW Century of Progress!Company DescriptionOver 120 years of delivering industrial might to Western Pennsylvania – And ready for a NEW Century of Progress!
