Noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loudAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, twist, stoop, lift, reach, kneel, crouch, push, pull, handle grooming equipment, type on a keyboard, and use a computer mouse.Equipment: Must have your own set of professional grooming toolsEducation: High school Diploma or EquivalentLicenses/Certifications: Grooming certificate preferredExperience: Minimum of 2 years of professional grooming experience in a salon or a graduate of a grooming school with a minimum of 1 year of professional grooming experience in a salon.Skills: Time managementStrong customer service skillsAbility to learn new processes and software specific to the businessAbility to problem solveStrong verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritizeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHas a positive attitude and is willing to contribute to a positive team cultureProficiency in all breed standard haircutsAble to groom an average of 5-6 dogs per day.Salary Description50% Commission
