Technical Trainer

Position OverviewAs a member of the Laboratory Operations (LabOps) Training team, Technical Trainers play a critical role in developing a skilled and knowledgeable workforce that can achieve individual performance goals and meet overall business objectives. While collaborating with others to accomplish this mission, you are expected to take full ownership of ensuring training objectives are met. Whether working with new hires in entry-level roles or seasoned professionals, you will be responsible for guiding individuals through their skill development and growth.*This is an on-site role at our Austin, TX Headquarters*Major ResponsibilitiesUtilize industry best practices to design training programs aligned with the goals and objectives established by site leadershipDevelop and implement a training curriculum tailored to accommodate various learning styles. Conduct hands-on technical training sessions and assessments to ensure employees demonstrate the competencies necessary to work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirementsMonitor team members’ progress through training and beyond, ensuring the maintenance of skills and the advancement of competenciesManage the training roadmap for both new hires and current team members, delivering ongoing training aligned with their development pathsTake ownership of the continuous feedback process by evaluating training effectiveness, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements to enhance outcomesRequirementsAt least 3 years of experience delivering technical training in a manufacturing or regulated environment, such as GMP, pharmaceutical, food production, aeronautical, or automotive industriesStrong coaching and communication skills, including the ability to provide effective performance feedbackExpertise in conducting training needs analyses and assessing competency levelsProven experience in designing instructional technical training programs that cater to a variety of learning stylesAdvanced computer proficiency, including practical knowledge of MS Office Suite, Asana, and other related systemsExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyAbout Emerald Cloud Labwww.emeraldcloudlab.comThe Emerald Cloud Laboratory (ECL) enables life scientists to move out of the lab, and to conduct research entirely from a computer.
