Mid DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description Strategic ACI is seeking a Mid DevSecOps Engineer to support AI/ML Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities for mission-critical national security programs. The Mid DevSecOps Engineer designs, develops, and maintains secure software solutions that enable automated, scalable, and repeatable AI/ML testing across Model T&E (MT&E), System T&E (ST&E), Human-Machine Team T&E (HMTT&E), and T&E-as-a-Service (T&EaaS) environments. This role develops secure CI/CD pipelines, workflow automation, and event-driven testing capabilities that allow AI/ML models and T&E tools to move safely and efficiently through operational evaluation environments. The engineer also designs and manages containerization strategies, standardized container images, and artifact repositories that ensure AI/ML models and T&E tools remain traceable, version-controlled, and readily deployable across NGA CORE, COE, SECNET, and SBU environments. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines supporting AI/ML model deployment throughout T&E environments. Develop workflow automation and event-driven testing capabilities that enable repeatable, scalable, and efficient evaluation processes. Build and integrate automated software solutions supporting MT&E, ST&E, HMTT&E, and T&EaaS activities. Design, implement, and maintain containerized applications using standardized container images and repositories. Manage software artifacts, container repositories, and deployment packages while ensuring version control, traceability, and configuration consistency. Develop software that enables secure deployment of AI/ML models and T&E tools across NGA CORE, COE, SECNET, and SBU environments. Collaborate with AI/ML Test Engineers, Data Scientists, Computer Vision Scientists, DevSecOps Engineers, and Platform Engineers to integrate automated testing and deployment capabilities. Troubleshoot and resolve software integration, deployment, and automation issues affecting T&E operations. Develop technical documentation supporting software architecture, deployment procedures, automation workflows, and configuration management. Support Agile and DevSecOps development activities that improve the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise AI/ML evaluation capabilities. Qualifications:Required: Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to pass a CI polygraph within 30 days. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field (or additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree). 5+ years of experience developing software applications or enterprise software solutions. Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Experience developing workflow automation and software solutions using languages such as Python, Java, C#, Go, or similar. Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable container orchestration technologies. Experience using Git, version control systems, and software configuration management practices. Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems and software development environments. Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps principles. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting mission-critical systems. Desired: Experience supporting DoD, NGA, or Intelligence Community programs. Experience supporting AI/ML operational environments, model deployment pipelines, or MLOps workflows. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes-based environments. Experience managing container registries, artifact repositories, and automated deployment pipelines. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Experience supporting secure software development, RMF, or Authority to Operate (ATO) environments.
