You’ll partner closely with client stakeholders and Level’s internal creative, UX, and production teams to design polished, scalable experiences that live within established systems while continuously improving them.This is a hands-on design role that offers the opportunity for real product ownership while working alongside experienced designers, strategists, and technologists on meaningful, high-impact work. User-Centered Design methodologies are second nature to you.What You DoYou take ownership of UI and visual design assets for projects and work closely with other team members as well as other disciplines to create extraordinary digital experiences. You work directly with clients and serve as a design thinking resource across products/platforms and content/campaigns. You collaborate with all other disciplines and understand the dependencies that impact design and development throughout the project life cycle. You are skilled in all aspects of UI/interaction design and have a deep understanding of UX strategy.ResponsibilitiesDesign high-fidelity UI and visual experiences for web-based product and marketing pages across responsive breakpointsApply and evolve existing design systems, component libraries, and style guides with consistency and careCreate production-ready design artifacts including page layouts, component specs, interaction states, and documentationOwn design execution from concept through delivery, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and polish at every stepPartner with cross-functional teams including UX, copy, engineering, and client stakeholders to bring designs to lifeMaintain rigorous attention to detail, QA-ing designs for visual accuracy, accessibility, and system alignmentContribute to style guide creation, system documentation, and best-practice guidelinesPresent work clearly and confidently, articulating design rationale and tradeoffsSupport multiple workstreams while managing priorities, timelines, and feedback efficientlyQualifications5+ years of experience in product design, digital design, or UI design within an advertising agency, media organization, in-house agency, consultancy, or product-driven environment; experience working in an embedded client environment preferredBachelor's degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, industrial design, or a similar field preferred; experience may be substitutedPrior experience working within or alongside the consumer technology, electronics, or hardware industry preferredStrong visual design foundation with proven experience designing polished, system-driven UIExposure to motion, interaction design, or prototyping tools strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Figma (including components, variants, libraries, and documentation workflows) as well as other tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and KeynoteExperience working within large-scale design systems and contributing to their evolutionStrong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility standards, and UI best practicesExperience collaborating closely with engineers and product partners including developer handoff workflows and design specsComfort operating with a high level of ownership, autonomy, and accountabilityAbility to accept and synthesize feedback quickly while maintaining design integrityExperience working within a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team on customer-focused products and servicesExperience partnering directly with clients to confidently present work, articulate rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs, and workshop and brainstorm iterative changes to ongoing projects Experience working in an agile delivery environmentA natural sense of urgency and an ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within tight deadlines and constantly-evolving project parameters, scope, and goalsFlexible and adaptable with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects with constantly shifting parameters and targetsHighly collaborative but independently capableAssertive, confident communication skills and a willingness to ask questions and take initiativeScrappy and entrepreneurial with a drive to evolve and innovateA portfolio showcasing innovative, high-quality UI, product, or marketing-driven digital experiences is REQUIRED and should be submitted at the time of applicationAdditional InformationThe Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
