Our fleet of red Christenson service vans has become a familiar sight around town, a symbol of our pride, dedication, and craftsmanship.We’re currently hiring for two key positions on our growing team:Project Manager – Utilities / Civil / High VoltageEstimator – Electrical ConstructionPosition 1: Project Manager – Utilities / Civil / High VoltageSummary:The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll oversee high-voltage and civil construction operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to CEI’s quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage high-voltage and civil utility projects (substations, duct banks, grounding systems, foundations, grading).Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.Review contracts, drawings, and specifications; identify risks and scope gaps.Coordinate staffing, materials, and equipment for successful project delivery.Manage project costs, billing, and forecasts to maintain profitability.Support preconstruction and estimating for future projects.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in electrical, civil, or utility project management (high-voltage preferred).Strong knowledge of utility construction methods.Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and project management software.Experience with Accubid or Spectrum preferred.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Position 2: EstimatorSummary:The Estimator supports the full bid process — from project review through proposal submission — to help CEI pursue and win electrical construction projects in the commercial, industrial, and technology sectors.Key Responsibilities:Review drawings, specifications, and bid documentation to determine project scope.Perform detailed take-offs and prepare cost estimates using Accubid and Bluebeam.Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.Prepare detailed proposals and participate in bid close meetings.Collaborate with Preconstruction, Engineering, and Project Management teams.Qualifications:3–5 years of estimating experience in the electrical industry.Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.Proficient with estimating and productivity software.Why Christenson:Competitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)Career growth and training opportunitiesA collaborative culture focused on safety, integrity, and excellenceHow to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through LinkedIn or submit a resume directly to: careers@christenson.comPlease indicate which position you’re applying for - Project Manager or Estimator - in your application.Please, no recruiters, staffing agencies, or talent acquisition inquiries.
