The Fabricator Internship is an hourly (non-exempt), full-time opportunity that runs from June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026.Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Fabricator Intern will work in all phases of fabrication for each of our unique projects specifically designed for our clients. The Fabricator has a direct impact on how each product is crafted and delivered to the client. You will return to school with practical knowledge and experience that is sure to enhance your skill set and career goals.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:Possess an eye for quality and detail and desire to work on cool projectsMust be willing to do all phases of fabricationAlways maintain a safe and positive work environmentOperates power tools, fabrication machines, and/or life equipment and materialWork and collaborate as a team to complete projects on a timely scheduleTakes direction well and is a self-starterImproves processes when necessaryFulfills production duties assigned as needed KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESAbility to read CAD drawings is preferredKnowledge of fractions, decimals- both standard and metricAbility to use various measuring toolsKnowledge of fabrication shop proceduresAbility to work solo and as part of a project teamAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch all day and frequently lift or move items up to 75 pounds PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, or crawlThe employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 poundsSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusEmployee must be able to talk and hear SHIFT HOURSFull time position, five day work week with over-time as neededWORK ENVIRONMENT
