Network EngineerReno, NevadaOnsiteFull Time/ ContractRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Verifiable Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification in routing andswitching10+ years' experience required, preferably in a healthcare provider environmentAbility to design, deploy, and maintain OSPF, MPLS, BGP, VPN and VRF network coresAbility to troubleshoot, design, deploy, and maintain all network cross functionaldevices (Cisco heavy environment)• Functional understanding of Layer 2 functions and switching (VLAN, VXLAN, STP, MACFiltering, etc.)Experience with Cisco is mandatory; experience with Palo is an advantageHigh level of understanding of OSPF and BGP routing protocolsExperience with Cisco NXOS, IOS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XRAbility to interpret and apply complex technical informationKnowledge of industry standard network systems design and implementationKnowledge of security and communications networks; and knowledge of technical anduser-related aspects of a personal computer environment, preferred• Working knowledge and experience with the following is preferred: DNAC, ISE,TACACS+, RADIUS, DNS, DHCPv4, DHCPv6, or IPAM/DDI• Identifies resolves problems timely; gathers and analyses information effectively;develops alternative solutions; uses reason when dealing with emotional topics• Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations; respondswell to questions, presents effectively in group meetings or settings, ability to read andinterpret written information.• Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; maintains confidentiality; listens to otherswithout interrupting; keeps emotions under control; open to others' ideas.
