Job Description Position Description: Position SummaryHelps maintain appearance of showroom; takes primary role in delivery and pick up of merchandise; may performadditional functions or duties as assigned by the general manager; demonstrates effective communication and reasoningskills and shows growth potential.Principal Responsibilities Acquire and Maintain Customers Ability to demonstrate product features and explain the benefit of those features Basic furniture, appliance, home electronics installation/removal Complies with all company vehicle safety standards and documentation Inside/outside service calls Protection of company assets which includes but not limited to inventory, equipment and vehicles All other duties deemed necessary by store managementRequirements for Delivery TechnicianIntermediate math skillsMaintain professional appearanceMust be able to drive during day, night and meet all safety requirementsMust be able to explain terms of rental/lease agreement to customer.Must be able to fill out receipt books, make journal entries.Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone.Must be able to work overtimeMust be proficient in product features, benefits; must be able to work on showroom floor.Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirementsRegular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates.General Physical RequirementsPosition routinely requires lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise 50-300 poundsStooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching and grabbing as requiredMust be able to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronicsProlonged driving and standingMust be able to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions. $16.00 - $17.00 Hourly
