The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the movement to secure fundamental legal rights for nonhuman animals, with a focus on life, liberty, and bodily integrity. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep commitment to civil rights and liberties, at least 15 years of experience in a leadership role at a nonprofit advocacy organization, and 10 years of experience in developing and litigating significant cases or projects. The Executive Director will be responsible for advancing a multi-pathway litigation approach, engaging with the courts, and influencing legal culture to create a lasting impact.Applicants for the Executive Director position should be passionate about animal rights and prepared to take the organization to the next level of its work.
