Job Title: Senior Cloud Security / AI Security EngineerExperience: 11+ YearsLocation: New YorkJob Type: W2 – Long-Term ContractWe’re looking for a Senior Cloud Security / AI Security Engineer (11+ years experience) to join our team.This is a hands-on role for someone who has spent years securing cloud platforms and is now equally interested in protecting modern AI/ML systems. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we secure infrastructure, applications, and intelligent systems at scale.What you’ll be doing:Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCPLead security efforts for AI/ML platforms, including data pipelines, model security, and inference layersIdentify risks in cloud-native applications, APIs, containers, and microservicesDefine and enforce security best practices across IAM, encryption, secrets management, and zero-trust modelsPerform threat modeling, security reviews, and vulnerability assessmentsEmbed security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as codeMonitor and respond to security incidents in cloud and AI environmentsWork closely with engineering, DevOps, and data science teams to build security into the development lifecycleWhat we’re looking for:11+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong focus on cloud securityHands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP security controlsSolid understanding of AI/ML systems and associated security risks (e.g., data poisoning, model theft, adversarial attacks)Experience with DevSecOps practices and security automationStrong knowledge of IAM, network security, and container/Kubernetes securityFamiliarity with application and API security principlesAbility to think proactively about threats and design practical defensesNice to have:Experience securing AI platforms or GenAI/LLM-bas ed applicationsBackground in application security or penetration testingRelevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, or cloud security certifications)Why join us:Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud and AI security challengesHigh-impact role with ownership and visibilityCollaborative and fast-moving engineering environment.
