Accounting Manager/Controller📍 Santa Barbara County, CAA well-established, multi-entity organization is seeking a Division Controller to lead financial operations and partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.This is a high-visibility role with broad scope, offering the opportunity to oversee multiple business units while driving process improvements and supporting long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the monthly close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reportingManage financial operations across multiple entities within the organizationPartner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planningAnalyze variances and provide insights to support business decisionsDevelop and maintain internal controls to ensure GAAP complianceSupervise and mentor accounting staffSupport external audit processes and tax preparation activitiesDrive process improvements and participate in ERP system enhancementsAssist with treasury-related functions and cash managementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experiencePrior leadership or supervisory experience requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingCPA or MBA preferredSkills & ExperienceExperience working with ERP systems in a multi-entity environmentStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate both strategically and hands-onExcellent communication and leadership capabilitiesCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $125,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience)Bonus potential (10%)401(k) match of 3%This opportunity is ideal for someone at (or ready to step into) the Controller level who is looking for greater scope, leadership exposure, and long-term growth.📩 Apply directly or message me for more details — all inquiries will be kept strictly confidential.
