Power BI Architect Location: Remote – Latin America Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Schedule: Full-Time (40h/week) Compensation: USD OverviewWe are seeking a Power BI Architect / Senior Analytics Engineer to lead execution of a critical data initiative focused on dashboard development, data modeling, KPI standardization, and data quality visibility within a people, operations, and business data environment.This role will support analytics across systems spanning Talent/ATS, CRM, Finance, and HR data, working on top of a modern data lake environment currently being built.The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, thrives in ambiguity, and can independently drive analytics initiatives from concept through execution.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build Power BI dashboards for executive, operational, and data quality reportingDevelop and maintain semantic models, datasets, relationships, and advanced DAX measuresDesign scalable dimensional models and reporting structuresBuild and maintain data dictionaries, mapping documentation, and business logic definitionsLead data mapping across ATS, CRM, Finance, and HR systemsDefine and operationalize data quality and validation frameworksCreate scorecards and dashboards to monitor data completeness and accuracyIdentify data gaps and recommend process or system improvementsPartner with business stakeholders to define and standardize KPIs and metricsTranslate business concepts into scalable reporting and data modelsCollaborate cross-functionally with project, documentation, analytics, and engineering teamsRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard development, DAX, semantic models, relationships)Strong experience with data modeling, including dimensional modeling/star schema designExperience building analytics solutions across multiple enterprise systems (CRM, ATS, Finance, HR)Experience with data dictionaries, mapping documentation, and metric definitionsExperience implementing data quality controls or completeness monitoring frameworksAbility to identify data gaps and drive practical solutionsExperience translating business logic into scalable reporting modelsComfortable operating in evolving or partially structured environmentsAbility to work independently with minimal oversightStrong stakeholder communication and business partnership skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working on top of a data lake or modern data stackBackground in Analytics Engineering, RevOps, BizOps, or enterprise analyticsExperience in high-growth or scaling environmentsExposure to governance-lite or data quality scorecard initiativesFamiliarity with AI/data readiness initiatives is a plusWhat This Role Is NotNot a data engineering / ETL pipeline roleNot ownership of the data lake infrastructureNot a formal data governance leadership positionThis role is focused on analytics architecture, Power BI development, data modeling, and data quality visibility.What Success Looks LikeTrusted dashboards actively used by leadershipStandardized KPI definitions and scalable reporting modelsStrong visibility into data quality and completenessImproved consistency across interconnected business systemsIndependent ownership and successful delivery of critical analytics initiatives
