PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods.SummaryThe Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMPs, and OSHA regulations. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing various areas including offices, common areas, restrooms, and conference rooms. The Housekeeper will also handle stocking supplies, managing housekeeping equipment, and assisting with event setups. Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team are essential.Working Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (OT as needed)Job QualificationsHousekeeper will perform a variety of housekeeping activities to keep the facility clean and sanitaryHousekeeping tasks must be performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMPs) and OSHA ComplianceIndividual must maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information especially while cleaning Executive and Manager OfficesMust take responsibility and accountability for assigned areasMaintain positive interactions with staff in all departments and assist with events, moves, etcMaintain professional appearanceMonitor the usage of housekeeping supplies and equipmentMust be available for mandatory overtimePosition ResponsibilitiesDocument detailed cleaning schedules for assigned sectionFollow manufacturer instructions for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment in order to prevent personal harm and facility damageClean building floors including sweeping, vacuuming and mopping of corridors, stairwells, lobby and other entrancesCleaning of common areas including dusting, sweeping and vacuuming of conference rooms and cafeteriasEnsure that restrooms are clean and sanitized at all timesStock cafeterias and restrooms with supplies (paper products, soap, cups, etc.) as neededGather and empty trash on a daily basis or as needed and transport to disposal areasSet up, arrange, and remove food, decorations, tables, and chairs, to prepare for events and meetingsClean and polish furniture and fixturesClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrorsDust furniture, walls, machines, and equipmentNotify supervisor concerning the need for major repairsResponsible for the organization of supplies and equipment in supply rooms and closets.Perform other duties related to this positionLiaise with other housekeeping staff during requested time off to ensure adequate coveragePhysical RequirementsPerform routine repetitive daily tasks, despite frequent interruptionsMust be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 25 poundsMust be able to kneel, crouch, stand for long periodsWear personal protective equipment as neededBenefitsPLD is a proud equal opportunity employer offering many corporate benefits, including:Medical and Dental BenefitsVision401K with employer matchGroup Life InsuranceFlex Spending AccountsPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysTuition AssistanceCorporate Discount ProgramOpportunities to Flourish Within the CompanyPL Developments is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
