The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing APIs and leveraging AWS services to build scalable and efficient cloud solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs while utilizing best practices in a cloud environment.Key Responsibilities:API Development:Design, develop, and maintain APIs following best practices on AWS platforms.Create RESTful or GraphQL APIs and conduct unit testing to ensure quality and reliability.AWS Cloud Solutions:Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS to build and deploy API-based solutions.Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform for efficient deployment and management of resources.Technical Skills:Strong experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, and IAM.Expertise in API development (RESTful, GraphQL) and related tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI).Proficiency in Python programming language and frameworks.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka is a plus.Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch for application performance tracking.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience in API development on AWS using Python.
