A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology Job Details: • Work either 4 ten-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with day off after call, or 5 eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM • Call required one night per week and every 5th weekend • Float required to other units as needed • Must have 1 year of EPIC documentation system experience • Minimum 2 years of experience in field required • Three years critical care nursing experience required, preferably Neuro ICU • Must have IR, Special Procedures and Neuro work setting experience • Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ACLS, and SC license • Work with Omnicell medication system • Travel experience required • Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients • Work in Neuro Endovascular Department as part of Comprehensive Stroke Center • Perform moderate sedation, patient vital monitoring, mechanical thrombectomy, cerebral angiograms • Handle procedures including subarachnoid hemorrhage, carotid stent placement, and cerebral aneurysm coiling • Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information • Orientation occurs every Monday Facility: This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Neuro Endovascular Department and serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
