Our goal is to increase productivity to keep manufacturing in America successful and prosperous. www.appliedc.comThis role will support the Applied Controls Solutions Department with hardware ordering, management of Bills of Materials (BOMs), staging parts for machine builds, and inventory management for customer projects. These automated systems projects are primarily focused on robotics and industrial vision systems.The position will provide a high level of coordination within the team to ensure hardware deliveries are on time with project schedules. Conducting the procurement of hardware and actively resolving scheduling conflicts due to delivery delays. Scheduling hardware orders for release to minimize overall inventory on hand and inventory turns. Receiving inbound shipments and staging hardware for projects while assisting with simple assembly to streamline the build process. Strong willingness to learn new hardware and software as the company continues to build its hardware portfolio.Duties/Responsibilities:Coordinate hardware procurement to deliver successful projects to our customersEnsure all project hardware is delivered on time and within budgetDevelop hardware delivery timelines to monitor and track progress, across multiple projectsManage hardware changes, costs, and effects on build schedulingReport and escalate to management as neededCollaborate and manage relationships with internal resources, vendors, customers, and stakeholdersCreate and maintain comprehensive project hardware documentationCapability of learning on the job and adapting to requirementsFlexibility to fulfill requests as provided by the manager in a timely mannerPhysical Effort & Travel: Occasional lifting of objects under 40lbsOccasional lifting of objects over 40lbsOccasional use of hand tools, power tools, and machinesRegular standing and walking including up to full days on footOccasional travel to customer sites within the mid-Atlantic regionOccasional overnight and travel outside of the regionCompany vehicles and personal vehicles will be utilized for travelRequired Skills/Abilities: Admin & Inventory ManagementTracking & maintaining project hardware timelines and budgetsInventory process improvementPlanning and schedulingWritten and verbal communicationDetail-OrientedRisk managementProblem solvingWork within a team to solve new problems as they ariseStrong team communicationWilling to support teammates as requiredWorking knowledge and experience in manufacturingKnowledge of manufacturing equipmentUnderstanding of manufacturing needs and processesFlexibility to fulfill requests as provided by manager on a timely mannerThree years of industry experienceEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
