Equipment Operators at Team Fishel are critical to the success of our operation by assisting the crew in completing the project safely, on-time and within the customer's specifications for quality.ResponsibilitiesSafe operation of trenching, or excavating equipment for utility constructionInspection and preventative maintenance of equipment utilizedAssist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications Ability to safely operate trenchers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and front end loadersMeet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)Ability to communicate with TeammatesWillingness to work and follow directionsHas thorough working knowledge of utility construction and installation18 years old with High School diploma or GED equivalentRegional travel requiredOccasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects)Starting pay range for this position is $24 - $32 / hour and will be commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
