Join us to make a meaningful impact and thrive in a positive, respectful workplace.CompensationHourly Rate: $22 - $28 per hour (Weekly Pay) Commensurate with experience and performanceTravel Time: Travel commute time is compensated at 100% of regular hourly rate, after standard commute deductionMileage Reimbursement: $0.55 per mile for all portal-to-portal and mobile surveillance mileagePaid Administrative Time: Paid at regular hourly rate for all report writing and administrative timePaid Training: Compensation for training sessions to ensure you are well-prepared for your roleResponsibilitiesReview assignments to determine case objectives and develop or follow action plansUtilize various surveillance equipment and technologyPerform surveillance and activity checks, documenting video footage and relevant informationConduct surveillance indoors and outdoors, involving extended periods of walking, standing, or sittingDrive safely and effectively in varied weather and traffic conditionsMove swiftly and discreetly to observe subjectsMaintain high standards of communication and confidentiality, adhering to ethical and legal guidelinesPrepare detailed reports with timestamps and supporting evidence for legal useAdapt to changing circumstances and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAttend and testify at hearings as requiredRequirementsRequirements:Maine private investigator licenseExceptional writing and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and qualityAbility to work independently and meet established deadlinesStrong critical thinking skillsSelf-starter with accountability for results and performanceFlexible schedule, including weekendsAbility to travel to and from assignments dailyQualifications And EquipmentValid driver’s license with good driving recordMinimum Auto Insurance Coverage: $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident bodily injury, and $50,000 property damageReliable personal vehicle, tinted windows preferredHD camcorder, covert camera, smartphone, computer or laptop, and internet connectivity Windows 11 or greater required, with 8+gb of RAM preferredMac OSX 13 or greater required for iMacPreferred ExperienceHigh school diploma or associate’s degree in criminal justice or related fieldMilitary background; insurance or investigations experienceReady to make a difference?
