The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the foundation's accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls, as well as leading and directing all accounting and financial reporting activities. This role involves overseeing the general ledger, accounting, billing, and accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. The Foundation Controller will also be involved in monitoring and documenting revenues from donations, leading audits, and supporting the development of the annual budget. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 10 years' of relevant professional experience, and a proven track record in nonprofit accounting and financial management. Applicants for the Vice President, Foundation Controller position at the company should possess a Master's degree or equivalent work experience, with a preference for a background in nonprofit financial management. The role requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
