Administrative Coordinator

Administrative Coordinator (Regular, Full-Time) People & CultureReporting to the Vice President of People & Culture, the Administrative Coordinator provides high-level administrative and operational support and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the People & Culture department. This role serves as a key partner in coordinating department initiatives, managing communications, and ensuring smooth execution of priorities.Responsibilities: Supports strategic People & Culture initiatives and special projects led by the VPManages the VP’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing requests, and resolving conflictsMaintains P&C department events schedule on the museum’s event calendar and updates department calendar every monthPrepares agendas, reports, and briefing materials for internal and external meetingsDrafts and manages correspondence on behalf of the VPCoordinates department communications, including announcements and updatesTracks progress on strategic priorities and ensures timely follow-up on action itemsCompiles and formats reports, dashboards, and presentationsMaintains tracking system for key metricsUpdates and maintains the museum's organizational chartsPrepares and sends exit paperwork to departing employees and coordinates related mailingsProcesses department invoices, expense reports, and travel request forms, and provides a monthly budget report to the VPCoordinates annual People & Culture team retreatResponds to inquiries and emails in a timely mannerHandles confidential information with discretion and securityPerforms other related duties as assignedBenefits:The expected hourly range for this Los Angeles, CA-based position is $26.50- $28.85, subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA’s comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan.LACMA is committed to providing its employees with valuable and competitive benefits as a core part of a strong overall employee experience.Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of administrative experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a human resources or a nonprofit environmentHighly proficient in Google Suite and HRIS systems
