Complex Litigation Associate (Mid-Level)Location: New York, Experience: 3-6 years of litigation experiencePractice: commercial, class action, and products‑related litigationBase Salary: $260,000-$365,000 The Opportunity:A top‑tier, globally recognized law firm is seeking a mid‑level Litigation Associate to join its complex disputes practice, which encompasses multiple litigation teams handling high‑stakes matters for industry-leading clients.The broader practice includes lawyers focused on complex commercial and consumer litigation, class actions, products liability, and mass‑tort‑style disputes. Associates are aligned with matters and teams that best fit their prior experience, while still benefiting from exposure to a wide range of sophisticated litigation.The Work:Associates in this practice are staffed on active, high‑stakes matters and are expected to take ownership of core litigation tasks, including:Drafting substantive briefs and motion papers (including dispositive and class‑related motions)Managing written discovery and coordinating document review in large, multi‑party mattersWorking closely with experts on issues such as causation, liability, and damagesPreparing for and participating in depositions, hearings, and trial‑adjacent proceedingsCollaborating with partners and senior lawyers on case strategy and client counselingThe broader litigation platform includes teams handling complex commercial disputes, class actions, and products‑related litigation, and associates are staffed with matters and groups that align with their prior experience while remaining part of an integrated, cross‑office practice.The Profile:~3-6 years of complex litigation experienceBackground in class actions, products liability, mass torts, or sophisticated commercial disputesStrong drafting and analytical skillsExperience managing discovery in large mattersDeposition experience is a plusActive bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (New York, California, or similar markets preferred)The Platform:National and international reputation for complex litigation excellenceMatters that are rarely routine or volume‑drivenAssociates viewed as long‑term investmentsClear expectations around development and advancementClose collaboration with lawyers recognized among the best in their fieldsMeaningful cross‑office work, not siloed practice groups
