We are now accepting applications for a qualified Student Enrollment Services Coordinator at Belmont University.Employment Type StaffInternal Job CategoryNon-Exempt (Staff)Full-TimeDepartmentCollege of MedicineHours 37.5Primary Duties andResponsibilities:Reporting to the Director of Student Enrollment Services, the Student Enrollment Services Coordinator will serve as one of the initial points of contact in the Office of Student Affairs and Belonging, providing a broad range of services to support students from enrollment through graduation, including registration, financial literacy counseling, visiting student electives, and residency application services.Primary position responsibilities:Support enrollment operations by configuring courses within the Banner system, assisting with students course registration, and processing schedule modifications to ensure accurate enrollment data and seamless registration experience.Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records through meticulous data entry and document indexing, generate comprehensive enrollment reports, and handle all confidential student information with the discretion and in full compliance with FERPA and University regulations.Serves as a key resource for current students, providing comprehensive support on enrollment-related matters, including enrollment verification, letters of good standing, and guidance on immunization compliance and health insurance requirements.Provide administrative support to the Director in the administration of the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO), including updating FCoM elective information with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and the lottery program for cohort assignments for the clerkship phase.Assist in the planning and executions of key events hosted by the Office of Student Affairs and Belonging events such as New Student Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Second Look Day, Match Day, Financial Literacy Workshop and other activities contributing to a positive and engaging student experience.Collaborate with the Director of Student Enrollment Services to serve as a liaison to the Belmont University Office of the Registrar and Student Financial Services, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving between departments.The above statements describe the job’s essential responsibilities and requirements. Interacts professionally and courteously with students, faculty, staff, and external partners while addressing inquiries regarding admissions, registration, records, and related processes. Demonstrates strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently and ensure a positive, supportive experience throughout the medical student lifecycle.Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations. Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work.Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.Preferred Required Required Education Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Required Experience 1-3 years in a higher education setting is required.
