We are launching a brand-new Enterprise DataOps Platform initiative at HHS.This isn't just another maintenance role. We are leveraging decades of data expertise to solve enterprise-scale challenges using a modern, cutting-edge stack. If you thrive on Kubernetes, GitOps, and Containerization, we want you on our founding team.The Impact You'll MakeAs a core member of the DataOps Platform team, you will:Build & Evolve: Develop and continuously refine a high-performance DataOps platform.Innovate: Evaluate emerging technologies and maintain common tools/libraries that empower our entire dev community.Secure: Automate compliance pipelines to meet Federal security standards (Security-as-Code).Lead: Drive a growth mindset within an Agile environment, with leadership opportunities available at every level.What You Bring to the TableThe Essentials:Experience: 5–7 years of proven expertise in the field.Code Proficiency: Strong skills in at least one major language (Python, C++, etc.).Cloud & Containers: Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud ecosystems (GCP, AWS, or Azure).Data Pipelines: Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and messaging systems like Kafka or Cloud Pub/Sub.Foundations: Solid Linux command-line skills and experience with modern cloud data infrastructure.The "Bonus" Toolkit (Nice to Have):GitOps & IaC: Experience with ArgoCD, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.CI/CD & Observability: Familiarity with the GitLab/GitHub lifecycle and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, EFK, Splunk, or DataDog).Security & Streaming: Knowledge of Secret Management (Vault, CyberArk) and data transfer tools (Aspera, MinIO).EducationB.S. in a STEM field (Engineering, CS, Math, Physics) OR equivalent industry experience in systems engineering.Send Resume [mjohnson@nxtkey.com]DataOps #Kubernetes #Hiring #CloudEngineering #WashingtonDC #TechJobs #CyberSecurity #GitOpsJ-18808-Ljbffr
