Milling Operator – Class A CDL

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that values safety, precision, and craftsmanship. *Duties* * Operate milling machines, dump trucks, loaders, excavators, and other heavy equipment to remove old pavement and prepare surfaces for new asphalt or concrete layers * Maintain and perform routine inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance * Transport materials such as bituminous mixtures, concrete, and other paving materials to job sites using a commercial truck with a Class A CDL * Assist with paving operations by setting screeds, controlling paving equipment, and ensuring smooth surface finishes * Support concrete work including pouring, finishing, pumping, forming rebar installation, and concrete curing processes * Follow all safety regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, site-specific safety protocols, and equipment operation guidelines * Collaborate with team members to execute construction projects efficiently while adhering to project timelines and quality standards *Qualifications* * Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record * Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as milling machines, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks * Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and proper equipment maintenance procedures * Familiarity with asphalt paving, concrete finishing, screeds, concrete pumping, rebar installation, and concrete forming techniques * Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to paving and material quantities * Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting * Ability to work on civil infrastructure projects involving paving equipment operation and concrete work in various weather conditions * Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and working in compliance with DOT regulations Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact!
