Cary Family Eye Care is located in Cary, NC. Cary is just outside Raleigh and is consistently listed as one of the best places to live in the US. Cary is a safe community with excellent schools, and close enough to Raleigh and Durham to have easy access to entertainment, arts, and great restaurants. We are an independent practice owned by husband-and-wife team Dr. Dwight Barnes and Dr. Kelly Barnes, and would like to add another associate doctor. We add new technology frequently in an effort to provide the best care for our patients. We have an excellent support team of 20, and have been on a rapid growth trajectory for the past several years. We moved just last year into a beautiful new space to allow further growth. Our office has been a part of our local community for 16 years, sponsoring local schools, arts programs, and sporting events. Our equipment includes Optos Daytona, iVue OCT, Medmont e300 topography, Visual Fields, Myopia Master optical biometer, Quantifeye macular pigment optical density scan, Keratograph 5M topographer and anterior segment camera, Lumenis IPL, and Alcon iLux. We have a busy Myopia Control Clinic, led by Dr. Dwight Barnes, who is a fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, and can train in this specialty if there is interest from an associate. We have also have a growing dry eye specialty clinic. Additionally, we now have a vision therapy clinic led by our associate Dr. Logan Lineberry. Our practice is guided by our core values, with an emphasis on preventive care and patient education. Our team works hard but also schedules frequent team-building and celebratory events to reward our team members for their work. Our office offers a fun, comfortable environment with an outstanding team that is focused on patient care. We schedule patients at a manageable pace and offer a great schedule with no weekends, plus we finish at 1pm every Friday! We are ideally looking for a full-time associate but would consider part-time for the right candidate. We offer group health insurance, 401k, disability insurance, and paid time off. Our office will also cover malpractice insurance premiums, fees for NC license, and a stipend for continuing education. Our ideal associate would have an interest in specialty contact lenses and myopia management.
