DWC is a NexCore partner, with over 18 locations throughout the US!Position OverviewThe HVAC Service Technician will perform inspections, installation, maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and service commercial HVAC equipment; furnaces, RTU's, makeup air units, heat pumps, condensers, controls, etc.Successfully troubleshoots and services large building systems and controls, including: cooling towers, VRF, VFD, boiler systems, VAV, CRAC and some Chiller systemsPerform maintenance and repairs when neededDiagnose electrical and mechanical faults within HVAC equipmentCommunicate with clients to ensure work is completed to their satisfactionMust be on time and ready to complete the task at handSubmit required paperwork on a daily basisMaintain cleanliness of vehicle, tools, and equipmentAbility to use the required tools to complete the required taskFollow all safety protocolsUnderstand and wear personal protection equipment (PPE)Follow all established procedures and standards communicated by managementMentor apprentices/junior techsQualifications8 or more years' experience in a HVAC Service RoleStrong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems service, repair and maintenanceAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Ability and willingness to work standard business hoursExcellent problem-solving skillsOrganized and detail orientedCustomer service skillsVerbal and written communication skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.Certification in HVAC or related fields is preferred.BenefitsCompetitive payComprehensive health insurance (including dental and vision)Health Saving Account with company contributionPaid Life Insurance401(k) plan with company matchingGenerous paid time offPaid HolidaysProfessional development assistanceEmployee discount
