The Insurance Account Representative will support customers by responding to inquiries, explaining coverage options, and guiding them through policy selection, changes, and renewals. The role involves managing a book of business, processing applications, preparing quotes, and ensuring accurate documentation in agency systems. The Insurance Account Representative will engage in outbound calling, follow-up communications, and relationship-building to identify needs and offer appropriate insurance products. Additional responsibilities include assisting with billing questions, resolving issues, supporting agency marketing efforts, and participating in ongoing training to stay current on products, regulations, and best practices.Qualifications Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to listen actively and explain complex information clearly.Experience or aptitude in Sales and Account Management to build relationships, retain clients, and identify opportunities for additional coverage.Ability to support Training activities, such as learning new products quickly and sharing knowledge with team members when needed.Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or agency management systems, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.Insurance licenses for property and casualty and/or life and health (or willingness and ability to obtain licenses within a defined timeframe).Comfort working in a goal-oriented environment, with reliability, integrity, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
