Platform Intelligence Communications Architect

TensioniqChicago, ILMay 11th, 2026
Company DescriptionTensionIQ® is defining a new category in cargo securement intelligence — a patented platform architecture designed to unify fragmented data sources into a single, predictive, compliance‑aligned intelligence framework. The platform’s design establishes how tension‑state data, telemetry inputs, and securement‑related signals can be normalized, evaluated, and modeled within a unified architecture capable of supporting next‑generation operational intelligence. This role places you at the center of platform‑level conversations with organizations evaluating how TensionIQ’s patented design can inform future securement intelligence, data normalization strategies, and compliance‑grade documentation frameworks.TensionIQ’s intellectual property outlines an innovative IoT‑driven architecture for measuring and interpreting cargo securement states, defining how tension data could be captured, processed, and evaluated against regulatory requirements such as 49 CFR Part 393. The patented framework describes the use of edge‑level signal interpretation, cloud‑based analytical models, and multi‑path communication concepts to support predictive securement intelligence and automated compliance documentation. These specifications establish a standards‑grade foundation for future applications across trucking, rail, maritime, aviation, and construction — positioning TensionIQ as an IP‑driven platform architecture rather than a deployed monitoring system.Role DescriptionDevelop a deep, working understanding of the TensionIQ architecture, design intent, and platform scope.Communicate the platform’s value and architectural role to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.Support enterprise meetings by framing the architecture, clarifying design intent, and guiding partner evaluation.Translate partner environments — data flows, telemetry sources, operational processes, compliance needs — into structured architectural requirements.Contribute to executive briefs, architectural diagrams, and technical framing materials.Maintain altitude by anchoring discussions to platform architecture rather than implementation detail.Capture technical questions and coordinate structured follow‑up.QualificationsExperience in systems architecture, platform design, IoT/telematics, data intelligence, or enterprise technology.Ability to communicate complex systems to both engineers and executives with equal clarity.Strong understanding of data flows, normalization, state evaluation, or platform‑level architectures.Experience supporting enterprise engagements or high‑stakes technical conversations.Exceptional clarity in written and verbal communication.Comfort operating in early‑stage, IP‑driven, architecture‑first environments.
