Layout Designer

Responsibilities Own component placement optimization and full PCB layout in Altium. Execute layout for power, control, and communication circuits. Route high-speed and power-sensitive signals following best practices. Handle Ethernet routing (10Mbps single-pair Ethernet / 10BASE-T1L). Perform LGA/BGA fanout and dense component routing. Ensure power integrity across 48V input, buck converters, and LDO rails. Safety & Compliance Apply UL and functional safety standards. Ensure proper creepage and clearance for high-voltage spacing. Prepare design for manufacturability and fab release. Must-Haves 5+ years of relevant PCB layout experience. Strong hands-on experience with Altium. Power electronics and control board layout experience. Experience with high speeds (10Gb) and high voltage. High-speed signal routing experience (Ethernet, CAN, SPI, etc.). Experience with LGA/BGA packages and dense layouts. Ability to work independently and hit tight schedules. Nice-to-Haves Battery systems or energy storage hardware experience. Familiarity with "functional safety" in battery environments. Cadence / Allegro background. Exposure to hardware security considerations.
