With capacity for growth, we are looking for strong consultative sales associates to join our growing company and to help us usher in a new era at TEVA Corp! Purpose of the PositionThe Sales Associate is responsible for sales growth in their territory by building strong relationships with farmers and farmer dealers and managing nutrient recommendations and grower trials. Sales Associates have responsibility for the sales within the state they reside, and are expected to grow sales throughout the planning, planting, growing, and harvest season.Key ResponsibilitiesGrow sales by working directly with farmers and farmer dealers to help manage nutrient recommendations for growers across all crops to become your customer’s preferred crop fertility expertCreate an effective sales plan to include optimizing relationships with existing customers and hunting for new customers across growers, farmer dealers, ag retail, and alternative channelsMeet with growers directly (or through farmer dealers) to discuss crop goals and nutrient recommendations for the year’s current crop, to include preseason meetings with growers to set up plans, following up throughout the growing season to assess results, and to provide great customer service for an emerging nutritional needsRecord efforts in prospecting, qualifying leads, negotiating, and developing top sales opportunities in the company customer relationship management (CRM) toolExecute end of year customer follow-up meetings to review performance, create plans, and build relationshipsThe CandidateProfessional QualificationsEducation and Experience:Bachelors Degree in business, agriculture, or a related field preferred3-5 Years Experience in SalesDirect responsibility for a sales territory with consistent achievement of sales growthPersonal track record of progressive growth for delivering individual sales resultsAgriculture Experience Preferred, not requiredSkills & Abilities: Strong communication skills and a love of peopleSales experienceA willingness to learn – No ag experience requiredWillingness to travelAbility to work independently and engage people with minimal oversightDetail orientedCompetitive nature and strong work ethicTravel: 25-50% (depending on location)Location: Open to someone living anywhere in North Carolina, Alabama, or Oklahoma with preference for someone living within proximity to our agriculture customersEducationBachelors Degree in business, agriculture, or a related field preferred.SE# 510682625
