Food Production Lead

Food Production LeadWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Food Production Associate to support daily operations within a fast-paced food production environment. This position combines hands-on production work with team lead responsibilities, including assisting with workflow coordination, supporting training efforts, monitoring quality standards, and helping ensure production goals are met. The ideal candidate has prior food production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example in a cold storage setting.Lead and support daily production activities including portioning, assembling, packaging, and order fulfillmentAssist in coordinating workflow to ensure productivity and accuracy targets are achievedSupport onboarding and training of new associates on processes, safety, and quality standardsMonitor product quality and ensure adherence to company specificationsHelp enforce food safety, sanitation, and GMP proceduresTroubleshoot minor production issues and escalate concerns to supervisors as neededMaintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency across workstationsProvide hands-on support to the team and serve as a point of contact during the shiftTrack production output and help communicate shift priorities to team membersWork in a refrigerated environment throughout the shift2+ years of experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment preferredPrior lead, trainer, or team lead experience strongly preferredKnowledge of food safety standards and production proceduresAbility to work in a cold environment for extended periodsComfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbsStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsReliable attendance and ability to work assigned scheduleCold storage facility (refrigerated temperatures)Fast-paced, team-oriented production settingRepetitive tasks requiring consistency and focusNon-slip, closed-toe shoes are required at all timesMust be comfortable balancing hands-on production work with team support responsibilitiesMidway Staffing offers a comprehensive benefits package offering Medical, Dental, Vision and Life/AD&D benefit options to all eligible employees.Midway Staffing is a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations.
