ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Assistant ManagerResponsibilities of Assistant Manager include, but are not limited to:Leading & Coaching the TeamHold the team accountable while the Store Manager is not presentDirect the barista station workflow and maintain quality and speed of serviceMaintain confident, positive demeanor during stressful circumstancesProvide feedback and encouragement to employeesAnswer questions and field team member phone calls as neededUse good judgement to know when to contact Store Manager with emergency situationsPaperwork Tasks & MeetingsComplete inventory and enter Harvest order in shopping cart each weekProvide assistance in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new employeesCheck Emporia Espresso email address daily (during scheduled working hours) and respond to emails from Corporate and Store Owners in a timely fashionOther tasks as assigned by Store Manager or Store Owner at their discretionAttend monthly/quarterly meetings with Store Manager and/or Store Owner.
