Associate Startup Solution Architect
Overview
In this role, you work with early-stage startups to design scalable, secure architectures that leverage AWS. You’ll engage directly with customers to guide pragmatic tech decisions and build lasting relationships as a trusted advisor. You’ll help startups adopt the right AWS services to accelerate growth and craft content to share learnings with the broader community. You’ll collaborate with product teams to ensure the platform meets startup needs, while also expanding your own technical skills through ongoing learning. This role offers a meaningful chance to shape startups’ infrastructure at scale and influence AWS service evolution.

ResponsibilitiesHelp diverse startups adopt the right architecture for their lifecycleArchitect scalable, reliable and secure solutionsSupport adoption of a broad range of AWS services to deliver business valueContribute to evolution and roadmap of AWS platform by feeding back from customersEstablish technical relationships within the startup ecosystem (accelerators, incubators, VCs)Develop startup-specific technical content (blog posts, sample code, solutions) to help customers solve problems and reduce time-to-marketShare knowledge broadly by presenting at events and creating technical content
Key requirementsExperience with one of Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++Experience with two or more of: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)Preferred: experience implementing cloud-based technology solutionsPreferred: experience in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOpsStrong communication and relationship-building abilitiesCollaborative and customer-focused mindsetAbility to advocate for customers with product teamsAWS services and cloud architectureSystems design and software developmentInfrastructure architecture and DevOps
