This facility is an immigration detention center, and the RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care in a secure, correctional environment. Responsibilities include administering medications, responding to medical emergencies, supporting provider-led care, and ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.Responsibilities: Provide nursing care and assessments for detainees Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document appropriately Assist providers during sick call and medical examinations Respond to medical emergencies and perform emergency procedures as needed Monitor chronic conditions and evaluate illnesses or injuries Refer patients to emergency care or outside providers when necessary Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of medical records Collaborate with facility staff and healthcare providers to coordinate care Ensure proper handling and security of medications and medical suppliesMinimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California 1 year of professional nursing experience required Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work in a secure correctional environmentAssignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks (initial) Schedule: 36/48 rotation Shifts: 12-hour day or night shiftsAequor Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance Weekly Pay 401(k) Retirement PlanInterested?
