Description: Anivas Tech is seeking a webMethods SME to support our government agency IT operations. We are looking for a skilled professional with 12+ years of relevant experience who brings strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a mission-driven, high-visibility environment. Requirements: Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for the Software AG webMethods integration platform Design, develop, and maintain integration flows, services, and APIs using webMethods Integration Server, Broker/Universal Messaging, and related components Analyze government agency integration requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable webMethods solutions Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production integration issues affecting mission-critical systems Perform impact assessments for proposed enhancements, patches, and platform upgrades Collaborate with application owners, data teams, and infrastructure staff to ensure reliable end-to-end integration Support performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of the webMethods platform Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, runbooks, and API catalogs Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across the integration team Ensure integration solutions comply with federal security, governance, and architectural standards US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; 5 additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree 12+ years of experience with Software AG webMethods, including Integration Server, Universal Messaging, and Trading Networks Deep expertise in developing and maintaining integration services, adapters, and event-driven architectures Experience with API management (webMethods API Gateway/Portal or equivalent) Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, and EDI integration standards Proficiency in Java or other programming languages used within the webMethods ecosystem Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to lead incident resolution in production Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder and leadership engagement Software AG webMethods certification Experience working in a federal government IT environment Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodology experience Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud integration platforms Experience migrating or modernizing legacy webMethods environments "Anivas Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
