This role will be a key contributor within the Accounting team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.The position will focus on general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial analysis, while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and support GAAP-compliant reporting.This role is expected to own key balance sheet areas, demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger & Close: Prepare and review monthly journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including variance analysis.Account Reconciliations & Balance Sheet Ownership: Own assigned balance sheet accounts (e.g., prepaids, accruals, intercompany), perform timely reconciliations, and resolve reconciling items to ensure accuracy and completeness.Fixed Asset Accounting: Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including additions, transfers, and disposals; ensure proper capitalization and depreciation in accordance with GAAP.Lease Accounting: Maintain lease schedules, record right-of-use assets and lease liabilities, and prepare related amortization and reconciliations.Audit & Compliance: Prepare audit-ready work papers and support external audits and internal reviews, ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal controls.Systems & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, FP&A, and other teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and alignment with business activities.Financial Analysis & Ad Hoc Support: Investigate variances and provide support for special projects and initiatives.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required3–6 years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry)Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with:Fixed asset accountingLease accounting (ASC 842)ERP experience required; NetSuite strongly preferredAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to own processes and work independently, while collaborating across teamsPhysical DemandsOccasionally required to stand/walkFrequently required to talk or hearProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesPosition TypeFull-time position requiring a standard office schedule of 45+hours per week, Monday through Friday.
