Position Description: Proficient in diagnosing, starting up, and testing HVAC Equipment on Commercial construction projects (split systems, mini-splits, package systems, and rooftop units. Skilled in service repairs, register installations and providing white glove service in finished and occupied units / homes. Comprehensive understanding of refrigerant troubleshooting and code-compliant HVAC systems. Competent in the installation of ductwork, gas piping, condensate piping, and venting, as well as blueprint reading and layout from pre-designed or custom plans. Responsible for pre-planning and communicating material needs to ensure on-time delivery and availability. Responsible for training field crews in both structural and technical aspects of the industry. Strong knowledge of all job phases, ensuring HVAC systems are installed effectively in coordination with other trades. Actively supports and enforces DJI Safety Culture by maintaining safe jobsite conditions and holding crew accountable to safety policies.
