Annashae is seeking Psychiatrists to provide weekend services at a medical center near Louisville.Benefits- Flexible, Short and Long-term contracts based on your availability- Competitive compensation- Travel-related expenses covered- Medical malpractice insurance providedAvailable Hours:-Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays-8:00am - 4:30pm-Flexible SchedulingQualifications- Any State Medical license- BC/BE in Psychiatry- Current DEA certificateJob Details:-Physicians shall be available and present in Acute Psych for inpatient rounds and consults to include other mental health consults within the facility, which will be established, and may be revised, as deemed appropriate for patient care by the Chief of Mental Health and the Chief of Staff.-Physician(s) (as appropriate and within scope of practice/privileging) shall be responsible for providing Psychiatry care, including, but not limited to: Physical Assessment, Psychiatric Evaluations and Mental Status Exams, Psychotherapy, Pharmacotherapy, Consultation, Clinical Supervision, General Medical Condition Care, Group Psychotherapy, Behavior Therapy, Family Therapy, Treatment Team meetings, Discharge Planning, referring patients to specialty care, histories and physicals, order prescriptions, labs, x-rays, and other pertinent tests, completes documentation requirements in a timely manner as per policy, completion of consults on other inpatient locations at the facility, and occasionally evaluates outpatients for medication during weekend clinic hours.
